I am delighted with the Headbones - so much so I will be placing an order for some Backbones very shortly, I've tried using two of the Headbones to provide dual lumbar and neck support and they really work a treat. June 12, 2011 Important information for prospective buyers! These silly-looking, silly-sounding pillows really work great. My Mom is 93 years old and spends most of her day in a recliner, and keeping her comfortable was nearly impossible. Her old back and neck pillows required constant adjustment. I took a chance on ordering the Headbone and Backbone and cannot be more pleasantly surprised by Mom's complete enjoyment of them. They stay put. They place the support exactly where she needs it. She can make minor adjustments herself, and most importantly she stays comfortable. Don't give it another thought, go ahead and order them for yourself.
Good afternoon Victoria, my headbone arrived this afternoon, thank you very much for the swift service, and i cant tell you how much i have missed not having one. I had whiplash after an accident a few years ago and ever since then my neck has given me discomfort whenever i had to sit for any length of time, however, since using the headbone the support it gives stops this from occurring. Now i am sure this will be the best laugh you will get today, but, Sophie my puppy Rottweiler managed to have fun with my last one AGAIN, however, i had to laugh when i got the key ring and you said it would make a good cat toy.........you don't by any chance have a good dog one. It's perfect for my husband's recliner which when he reclines back, needs a pillow to raise his head to see the TV. He had been using a pillow which he had to put in place every time he sat down. Now the headbone is always there in the perfect spot for him. He is able to adjust it if he needs to and says it is cooler than using a regular pillow. I had surgery on my neck awhile back but I still suffer with intense pain. This pillow is GREAT it makes sitting in my chair much more comfortable, it gives my neck the support I need. I am impressed with the quality of workmanship and pleasantly surprised that it is filled with the hulls of buckwheat rather than the buckwheat itself as I had mistakenly understood. It is very comfortable. My husband has a hard time with new things and wants them to be precisely as he feels they should be (in softness and comfort). He is hard to please and thinks the Headbone is just "too full" even after shaking down all that he can. He was hoping that we might get one with perhaps one half the filling as is usual. As to the fullness, no problem! There's a zipper on the side seam of the neck. Open it and remove some of the filler, since it is loose inside. Be careful, though. I'd suggest doing this over a large container that can catch the spillage. And reserve whatever you remove in case you need to put it back in. Let me know how it goes! 1/9/10 Just a little feed back. I received my order on Friday and it was as advertized! Tks, the convenience of it staying in place when I get out of my recliner and the ability to adjust the firmness are what sold it for me. I recently bought a 2003 Mustang convertible, and the seats are very uncomfortable for me, as the headrest sits way back. I also recently had surgery on my neck, and needed something to support it in the car, and searched high and low locally and online, before coming to your website. I think your product is fillling a niche, and I wish you the best. Do continue to market as a car pillow and also for theraputic reasons, and I will tell my friends! 6/3/08 Hi Victoria! I wanted to get back to you sooner, but I've been away. You see, I bought a new car and the headrests angle forward. Since I am only 4' 11", my head is always bent forward which has caused me to have terrible neck pain. In my online search for a solution to this problem, I came across your product. The funny thing is that you even have a picture on your site that shows a woman using the Headbone in her car for the same reason I need it. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found something that actually works. I was honestly beginning to hate getting into my car. I've been using it now for about a week & it has absolutely made a difference. It supports my neck & it's also soft and comfortable.
